Guide

Which massage should you book? A decision guide

Most guides describe each style in turn, which helps only if you already know what you are looking for. This one runs the other way round.

Fifteen styles on a menu is fifteen ways to freeze. Most guides answer this by describing each one in turn, which is useful only if you already know what you are looking for — and if you did, you would not be reading a guide.

So this one runs the other way round. Start from what you actually want out of the hour, and the menu narrows itself to two or three.

If you have never had one

Book **60 or 90 minutes**, one masseuse, and one of the straightforward styles: a sensual full-body massage, a shower massage, or a body-to-body.

Not because the others are difficult, but because a first visit already contains enough that is new — the room, the shower, the etiquette, the fact of being undressed in front of a stranger. Adding an unfamiliar technique on top of that is how people spend the first twenty minutes concentrating instead of relaxing.

Thirty minutes is the wrong first booking. By the time you have showered and settled, it is half over.

If you want maximum contact

**Nuru**, or **body-to-body**.

Body-to-body uses warm oil and keeps some friction, so pressure still transmits — it feels like a massage. Nuru uses nori seaweed gel and removes friction almost entirely, so pressure becomes gliding. Both are full-contact; they feel quite different, and people who like one often do not like the other.

Nuru needs the room with the shower and more setup time, so it runs longer than the billed massage time. Budget an extra half hour.

If you want slow, and no destination

**Tantra**, **lingam** or **yoni**.

These are the styles built around pace rather than technique. The session repeatedly moves away from the focus and back to the rest of the body, and none of them is organised around arriving anywhere. Take 90 minutes — at 60 the structure works, at 30 it is pointless.

Yoni massage is the one written for women rather than adapted for them, and it is booked both by women for themselves and by couples where the session is for her.

If you are booking as a couple

**Couples massage** — but read the condition before you call, because it catches people out.

At this studio, as at most in Budapest, a couples session is **lingam only**. It runs with both of you in one room, needs a larger room and usually two masseuses, and is priced and scheduled differently from two individual appointments. Book further ahead than you would for one person.

If what you want is a yoni massage for one of you with the other present, say exactly that on the phone. It is a normal request and it is arranged differently again.

If you want something you cannot get elsewhere

**The milking table.** Budapest has very few studios with the actual equipment.

It is an upgrade rather than a session type: choose the massage and the duration first, then add the table — **+40 EUR with one masseuse, +60 EUR with two**. There is one such room, so on a busy evening it may already be taken, and there is no substitute for it.

Worth saving for a second or third visit rather than a first.

If you want two people

**Four-handed**, or any style with two masseuses.

Two is not double the price — usually somewhere between 1.7 and 1.9 times the single rate, because the room and the preparation are the same. What it buys is continuity: the pace never breaks, because nobody has to stop and move.

It needs two people free at the same hour, so book earlier than you otherwise would.

What not to book first

**Prostate massage**, unless you already know you want it. It is internal, and it is a much better experience once the studio and the routine are familiar. It is on most of the roster's lists and it is not going anywhere.

**Anything at 30 minutes.** The slot exists so the price list has a low number at the top. Very little of what makes these worth booking fits into half an hour once two showers are accounted for.

**A style nobody on shift that day offers.** Rosters change daily and the split between masseuses is real, not nominal. Which brings us to the part that matters more than the style.

The three questions that actually settle it

Style is the decision people agonise over and the one that matters least. These three matter more:

• **How long?** Sixty is the shortest sensible booking. Ninety is where most styles settle. The difference between a 60 and a 90 is larger than the difference between two styles.

• **One masseuse or two?** This changes the price more than any style choice, and it changes the session more than most people expect.

• **Which masseuse?** Read the profiles and ask for her by name. Not everyone offers everything — the profiles say who does what and, more usefully, who does not. A booking for "someone good" is not a booking.

Settle those three on the phone along with the total, and the style becomes the easy part.

If you still cannot decide

Say so when you call. Describe what you want the hour to feel like — slow, or intense; quiet, or playful; one person, or two — and let the studio suggest the style. That is a normal conversation and it produces better bookings than a menu does, because the person on the other end knows who is working and what the room is set up for.

Frequently asked

Which erotic massage should I book first?
A 60 or 90 minute session with one masseuse, in a straightforward style — sensual full-body, shower or body-to-body. A first visit already contains enough that is new without adding an unfamiliar technique on top.
What is the difference between nuru and body-to-body?
Body-to-body uses warm oil and keeps some friction, so pressure transmits and it feels like a massage. Nuru uses nori seaweed gel and removes friction almost entirely, so pressure becomes gliding. People who like one often do not like the other.
Does the style matter more than the length?
No. The difference between a 60 and a 90 minute session is larger than the difference between two styles, and whether you book one masseuse or two changes both the price and the session more than the style does.
